I have been a fan/student of Floyd Cramer since I was 5 years old. My very talented Uncle Igeary Pearcy,  'turned-me-on'  to the Floyd Cramer style as he would play solos at church: What a Friend we Have in Jesus / Peace in the Valley.  He would later take me to see Floyd in concert at Freedom Hall Civic Center in Johnson City, Tennessee (1980).

Later, I got the opportunity to interview Floyd for a radio program on Dobyns Bennett High Schools WCSK Radio.  And, eventually, I got the privilege to meet Floyd twice at Concerts for East Tennessee State University, both in 1981 & 1986. The university had a Scholarship Fund in Floyd's name, an idea of businessman  Jim Powell, President of Powell Construction.  Mr. Powell, coincidentally, was the man who helped me with the telephone interview, for which I will always be grateful.

December 31, 1997 changed my life......word came on the 11:00 News that Floyd Cramer had died that morning of lung cancer.   Actually had a few friends called me to let me know.

I continued to play piano both at church and in oldies bands.  When the last band decided to dissolve, I decided to pursue my own show... A Tribute to Floyd Cramer.

Please keep checking back for updates and booking information.
