I have been involved with music since I was 3 years old.  Early influences were Elvis Presley & Floyd Cramer.  Later on, I progressed to another Piano great- Ronnie Milsap, along with Neal Doughty ( REO Speedwagon ).  My absolute earliest influence was my Uncle- Igeary Pearcy, a very versatile musician.  He would play  'What a Friend We Have in Jesus'   at church, with a Floyd Cramer arrangement.  With that, I was hooked.

I play Piano / Bass Guitar & Drums, all by ear.  This has an advantage, since you can basically play what you hear.  It also has a little tendency to drive you crazy when trying to find that  'Magic'  chord sometimes.

I have done two recording projects in the past  'Just Me and My Piano'  &  'Gospel Favorites'.  Yes, all songs have that  Floyd Cramer sound.  Below are some samples from each project that I hope you will enjoy.

I actually had the privilege to meet Floyd Cramer on two separate occasions.  Once in 1984 at Freedom Hall in Johnson City. The other in 1986 at E.T.S.U..  Both were concerts to benefit the Floyd Cramer Scholarship Fund at the University. Jim Powell & Powell Construction Company sponsored the concerts.  Yes, I was a little nervous to say the least. I had also conducted a telephone interview with him in high school for WCSK 90.3 FM.
